Its cold

Its getting hard to motivate yourself in the morning for surfs due to the freshness of the air, not so for Joe Hall, one of the most stoked surfers i know and is always keen.

Twin Fin Flyer

5'10 twin fin flyer, has a stubbie nose for paddling with a pulled in tall with a single concave into a double running out with the flyers.

Before the latest big swell we had some killer banks around the coast, i put in some serious hours at this one bank that i really liked, will it still be there when the swell mellows out a bit? hope so. Kezza Downs just happened to be looking after Sunny one afternoon so in between entertaining and changing nappy's he was able to take a few snaps. NEW TWIN MOD

new twin fin finished this week, really happy with this one love the tint, 5'11 swallow tail, with a single concave heading into a double in the tail.

why is wax so expensive?

why do we pay so much for wax in this country? what is it $3.50 to $5 a block, its crazy!! so i bought up when i was away $1 a block.....thank you!!!!

what a life

I would love to wake up to this view every day, someday.......maybe!!, im going to need to earn some serious money for that to happen, for now im happy with what i got.

growin up

I had a great childhood, my brother Dan and i where raised on a farm south of Adelaide on the mid coast. We had sheep, horse's and olive tree's. one of the greatest time's of my life, i grew up surfing and riding motor x, up the back of the farm dad had a moto race track that people would come from all around Australia to ride, so we always had visitors. My folks owed surf shops and made surfboards, Dan and i never wanted for anything and life was simple. I remember hanging out at the shop after school every day when the surf was flat, which in Adelaide was most of the time. The above photo was taken in front on the work van which was a Bedford Van with FROSTYS SURFSHOP and SPIRITFILLED(dad board brand back in the 80's), im on the left and little Dan on the right. Not long after this photo dad gave up the moto x after waking up in hospital after 3 days of being knocked out. He was trying to sell his bike to a couple of guys that had come up to the farm to have a look, pulling a wheelie with no helment and shirt with just a pair of jeans and shoes and going over the handlebars is not the best way to sell a bike, it did work but and the guys took it after dad got out of hospital.

How good has the swell been at the start of winter, love the swell and the cold water! keep the softie's away and the water empty! so there's alot of waves going around. this is from a few weeks ago, Kyal charging and getting some quality tube time! pic where taken by Jason Smith.
