last week i spent a few days up at Port Macquarie hanging out with dad in his factory, he wanted to tint some of his boards, so i took up 3 of my own to finish as well. It was an interesting week, both of us teaching each other on different aspects of finishing a board, since dad hadn't tinted a board for 30 years, and i wanting to nail the gloss coat. I think by the end of the week dad had more appreciation for the time and effort that go's into a tinted board.
